Extension of Ecologization Concept to Cleaner Production
1. ABSTRACT. The systems analysis of chemical processing revealed the importance of integration, selectivity and flexibility. These considerations will minimize wastes not by recycling but rather through a more nearly complete utilization of resources in a chemical processing unit.
Following are some of the conclusions:
2. DEGREE OF COMMERCIALIZATION. The development was tested and implemented at some chemical plants in the CIS.
3. TECHNICAL DATA AND COST PERFORMANCE. The emissions were reduced tenfold and more while the operations became more cost-effective.
4. MARKET PENETRATION. Our expertise is offered by way of consulting for projects aimed at upgrading specific installations.
5. KEY WORDS. Cleaner production, environmental protection, pollution abatement, chemical processing, energy conservation, materials conservation, chemical reactors, product yield, side reactions, flexible manufacturing systems, recovery, closed loop cycle, adaptive systems.
